Airport Transportation:

The pickup area for taxis, town cars, long-haul shuttles, hotel vans and parking lot shuttle buses is located in the center section of the airport terminal's lower roadway on the baggage claim and departure level. Airport shuttles, off-airport rental car shuttles and reserved vehicles are found in the section of the lower roadway closest to the garage. Most transportation providers serve downtown Portland, which is approximately 20-40 minutes from Portland International Airport.

Going Green

TriMet's MAX Red Line light rail service connects Portland International Airport, E/NE Portland, downtown Portland and Beaverton. Trains run about every 15 minutes most of the day, every day. Service is less frequent in the early morning, mid-day and evening.
  • You can roll your luggage on board.
  • The first train of the day arrives at PDX at 4:45 a.m. The last train departs PDX at 11:58 p.m.
  • The MAX station and ticket machines are located near baggage claim on the lower level.
  • The Doubletree Hotel Portland is located off of the Lloyd Center/NE 11th Stop

  • Public Transit: Our property offers door-to-door MAX light rail from our hotel to the Portland Airport. Once you're here, Portland's easy to use light rail and bus system will get you around the Metro area easily and comfortably.

Zipcar (formerly Flexcar) offers vehicles all around the city that can be leased by the hour for travel throughout the region.
