Just Announced: Bureau of Ocean Energy Management and the NEED Project to host Co-Located Ocean Energy Workshop for Teachers.


The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement, U.S. Department of Interior, EnergyOcean Pacific 2010 and Oregon Wave Energy Trust and the NEED Project are pleased to announce the upcoming Ocean Energy Workshop for Teachers, hosted as a part of EnergyOcean Pacific, co-located with the Ocean Renewable Energy Conference, in Portland, Oregon.  Classroom teachers (grades 4-12) will have a unique opportunity to learn information and hands-on activities to teach students about ocean energy and water generated electricity. The workshop will be held from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and attendees will be invited to join the conference for the Keynote Address and explore the Exhibit Hall during the workshop on Thursday September 30th at the DoubleTree - Portland.
